The Synapsis helmet is developed to be ultra light, without sacrificing protection or safety. It weighs a feathery 375 gr and is certified according the CE-1077 as well as ASTM standards. This has been achieved by using POCīs patent pending ballistic APB, Anti Penetration Barrier. In the injection process, the Aramid is placed between the thin vacuum molded outer shell and the EPS-liner. By succeeding with this complicated process, the helmet withstands penetration despite its low weight. So for those of you seeking an ultra-light ventilated helmet, not comprising safety, there is Synapsis. The optional visor is included.
